To take screenshot in Android 4.0 and above, Press Volume Down Button and Power Button at the same time. The screenshots are saved in the gallery.
Fact to Know:
Access to screenshot functionality is limited since A malicious app can use this to take screenshot when entering password or personal information.
That is why most screenshot apps require root access. For the same reason when you install a screenshot app make sure it is not a malicious one.
