LEVEL 2 – Schools Episode

The nominated student is required to log onto the website using the generated validation hyperlink to answer two skill-based questions and give one answer to a "nearest-to answer" question*. (i.e. the answer provided by the Registrant must be closest to the correct answer)
*The "nearest to answer" question is an open-ended question (e.g. what is the distance in km between Mumbai and Agra) for which the Registrant is required to enter the answer number.
A school can register only once for the KBC Schools Episode. Only one student can be nominated by a school.
Approximately 130 schools will be selected for the Audition round of the Competition. The Company reserves the right to alter this number based on creative requirement and will not be obligated to provide any reason for the same.
The entries received for the School episode will be evaluated on the completeness of the registration form, correctness of the answers provided by the student, and the answer provided to the "nearest-to" question. Shortlisting will be based on the total number of correct answers provided. In the event of more eligible entries than required, the nearest-to answer will be used to break a tie. In case of a tie in the „nearest-to‟ question also, the Company will select the school on a random basis or any other method that they think is reasonable.
Upon the Student answering the above mentioned questions by selection of the options given by the website to the respective questions, the School if selected, will receive a call on the registered telephone number within 7 (seven) days after closure of registration lines for further participation.
The Company shall not be liable in the event the Registrant is not able to complete registration on the website due to any technical issues
LEVEL 3 – Schools Episode

On successful completion of the registration and answering of questions on the website, all Registrants will be evaluated on the basis of responses entered for the questions. Following this, an audition shortlist will be generated from amongst the pool of correct respondents, by the randomizer.
Pre-defined reservation criteria will apply, and approximately 130 Schools will be selected to attend the Audition venue as Auditionees. In the event there is less than the required number of Registrants, the Registrants with less than the required number of correct answers may be selected by the randomizer. In the event of a tie, the answer to the „nearest to‟ questions will be used to select the entry. In case of a tie in the „nearest-to‟ question also, the Company will select the school on a random basis or any other method that they think is reasonable.
The CCE will notify such selected Registrants for Auditions by telephone and will confirm their details (school name, address, pin code & student name) before proceeding further. If the details provided by the Principal/School on this call do not match the existing details provided by them, then only one further opportunity will be provided to such selected Principals/Schools, after which the call will be terminated.
The CCE will inform the Principal/School about the Audition date and venue and will confirm the availability of the nominated student and teacher on the Audition dates and shoot dates. In the event the nominated student and teacher are not available on those dates, the Principal/School will not be permitted to continue with the registration process. In the event the nominated student and teacher are available, the CCE will ask the documents and photographs.
The CCE will thereafter ask the School/Principal to confirm the Audition's availability on the designated Audition date and venue and also their availability for the given shoot dates. Only upon such confirmation the School's participation in the Audition will be considered.
