Diwali is indeed a grand festival and we wait all through the year to celebrate this one day with sweets and crackers and fun and laughter!

Diwali is a festival of life and Diyas bring light to world and life. It is believed that diyas bring light and sparkle in the house whilst welcoming Goddess Laxmi in the house. Rangoli is a popular colorful design made on floor or say floor art of India. To give a warm welcome to the guests, beautiful Rangolis are drawn outside the main gate of the house. It is believed that the deities visit the households that are nicely adorned on the occasion of Diwali. Diwali Rangoli designs differ from region to region in India. At Diwali, Hindus draw bright Rangoli patterns to encourage the goddess Lakshmi to enter their homes.
